Meet Tana Povolo, Founder & Interior Designer
Tana believes a home should reflect the people who live there- not simply follow the design trends of the moment. Her role is to listen, understand how her clients live, and help them make thoughtful decisions that work together. You don’t have to know exactly what your style is before you begin. You just need to know that you want your home to feel better.
Born and raised in a small rural town in north central Indiana, Tana grew up in a family-run construction company, making Interior Design a natural path. Her love of working with people, however, started much earlier. She has worked in customer service in some form since the age of twelve, from a local drive-in-style ice cream and sandwich shop to the corporate headquarters of a popular big box store, a luxury event planning and design company, and most recently, an award-winning design/build firm.
Those experiences taught her that great design is about more than beautiful spaces. It’s about listening, building trust, solving problems, and making the process feel less overwhelming. Today, Tana brings that perspective to every project, helping clients feel confident in their choices while creating homes that are calm, considered, timeless, and easy to live in.
And, in case you’re wondering, Tana rhymes with banana. She’s heard all the variations over the years and has learned to embrace it.
Why Confluence Interiors?
We chose the name Confluence because it represents the coming together of different elements to create something greater as a whole.
That’s what we love about interior design!
The flooring, cabinets, lighting, paint, furniture, fabrics, and architectural details all have to work together. But so do your lifestyle, budget, priorities, and the way you want your home to feel.
Our role is to bring those pieces together and help you make decisions with confidence.
